How to test fulfilling orders

This page will walk you through how to test order fulfilling.

Fulfilling an order

After you have created an order you can then test the order fulfilling. To fulfil an order you must first select the order you wish to fulfil from the "Orders" section on the "Manage" page.

After you have fulfilled an order you must verify that the order has also been fulfilled on the respective platform.

Fulfilment methods and tracking

You must also test all possible fulfilment methods. Deepening on the platform and the listing type, the fulfilment will work in different ways. You must go through each available fulfilment method and confirm that it works.

All shipping carriers must be tested along with different tracking numbers, and shipping dates. When testing shipping dates you must try dates in the present future and past.

Testing all platforms and fulfilment methods

Fulfilling orders from orders on all platforms needs to be tested in combination with different fulfilment methods and different listings. For example eBay orders must be tested with fulfilment options offered by eBay and also other couriers.

eBay also offers local pick up for orders in which case no shipping is required. That also needs to be tested.
