How to test deleting listings

This page will walk you through how to test deleting listings.

Deleting a listing

To delete a listing you first need to navigate to the "Manage" page and select the listing you wish to delete.

Once you have a listing selected you need to use the "Actions" menu in the top right and select delete.

Alternatively you can right click any listings and select "Delete" from the context menu.

Deleting multiple listings

To delete multiple listings you need to select multiple listings from the listings table and then use the "Actions" menu in top right to select "Delete".

Deleting all listings

To delete all the listings you need to first select all the listings. Using the selector in the header row we can select all listings automatically. After that we can select "Delete" action from the "Actions" menu.

After you have deleted a listing you need to check that the listing has also been deleted on the platform it was originally listed on.

Testing all platforms and variations

Deleting products on all platforms needs to be tested. Listings need to be deleted in every single possible way to ensure that all methods of deleting work. Each platform needs to be tested individually and also in combination with other platforms. For example, once deleting a listing on eBay has been tested you then need to test deleting a listing on eBay and Amazon, then eBay and Shopify. This process needs to be repeated for every single platform.
