How to test releases notifications

Emails and notifications

To test emails and notifications, follow the following checklist and instructions.

[e-mail] itemweeklyroundup	To test this, ensure you have a few notifications and interests selected, and this email and notification should send automatically once per week.
[e-mail] itemnewtopinterest	To test this, make your top interest the desired interest to test, and then wait till a new item is added. Every time a new item within your top interest is added, it is supposed to send you an email and a notification. To repeat the test, change your top/no.1 interest and wait again to receive a notification/email for new items within that interest.
[e-mail] firstsite1hourreminder	To test this, click on an item that is coming soon / not yet released, and click the 🔔 in the top right corner of the item pop-up to set a reminder for the item. Then 1 hour before the release, you should receive a notification and an email. If you set the reminder 59 minutes to 11 minutes before the release, you should receive a notification and an email 10 minutes before the release.
[e-mail] optedinsite1hourreminder	To test this, click on an item that is coming soon / not yet released, scroll down to the websites area of the pop-up, and click the 🔔 on a specific website to set a reminder for that website. Then 1 hour before that website's release, you should receive a notification and an email. If you set the reminder 59 minutes to 11 minutes before that website's release, you should receive a notification and an email 10 minutes before the release.
[e-mail] item50+unreadtopinterest	To test this, you need to allow over 50 items to build up in your top interest category. To do this, simply do not click any of the categories of your favorite interest until there is over 50 total red dots or bold categories within your top interest.
[e-mail] websitenewtopinterest	To test this, make your top interest the desired interest to test, and then ensure our team adds a new website to our catalog of websites on your behalf within the desired interest. Every time a new website is added to our catalog of websites within your top interest, it is supposed to send you an email and a notification. To repeat the test, change your top/no.1 interest and again ask our team to add a website to our catalog of websites within that interest.
[e-mail] categorynewtop3interest	To test this, make your top 3 interests the desired interests to test, and then ensure our team adds a new category to our catalog of categories on your behalf within the desired interests. Every time a new category is added to our catalog of categories within your top 3 interests, it is supposed to send you an email and a notification. To repeat the test, change your top 3 interests and again ask our team to add a category to our catalog of categories within the desired interests.

SMS is currently not available yet however, if you are reading this at a future time when it is live, please follow similar instructions as listed above for emails and notifications.
